1.Budden and Star first became relevant in the same time period (2001-2004) and it's not like nikkas who pop into this thread could name me 5 Budden songs off the top of their heads anyway.

2. Budden at 37 is pushing 40 his damn self

3. The potential upward trajectory and relevance of the show when Budden was on there is being grossly overrated, if there are some type of metrics that show otherwise I would be interested in seeing them. I'm not implying this version of this show has a high ceiling in terms of relevance, but to front like they broke up some dynamic duo is revisionist history.
