I've played and enjoyed all those games far more than Star Ocean 4. Star Ocean 4 has the worst cast of any JRPG ever assembled. There pretty much isn't a single likable character. I've finished Star Ocean 4 and every game on that list except Demon's Souls. The only thing Star Ocean 4 has going for it is it's battle system but the rest of the game is so abysmal I had to force myself to finish it.

Zesteria is this gen, just because it came out on last gen systems doesn't mean anything. Only one I'll give you is demon souls since its really popular but i still don't consider it a jrpg in gameplay terms. A lot of those other choices aren't even close. And I said ps3/360 only. Persona 4 is last gen as well

Square Enix has delayed Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness from its previously planned February 25 release date in Japan to March 31.
The publisher says the additional time is needed to improve the game’s quality.
Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness is due out for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 in Japan in standard and Ultimate Box editions. It will launch for PlayStation 4 in North America and Europe in 2016.
