They finally got the show right in season 4 and now they're ending it at 5?

It took them 3 seasons to finally put a sista in as the captain and now they're ending it after only giving her two seasons of being in charge

If you've seen the first seasons it's worth a watch. Season 4 is what the show should have been from the start.

If you haven't watched the show at all don't bother. It's not worth it to sit through three bad seasons for one (relatively) good one.

did all that pandering to OLD trek fans and still got cancelled.

This show went from the flagship of the start trek to the back of the bus...tragic

I read somewhere they had to redo S5 of Discovery once they found out it was gonna be the last season (had to change the ending of S5 so the series has an proper finale) .

But at least he got 7 seasons like TNG did. Plus he was the Emissary from season 1.
