• Man the scenes with Luthen & Mon Mothma really shine. Superb acting, especially from Stellan. Luthen obviously understands Mon's position, but he knows for rebellion to work it also needs to take action. In turn, the transition into Mon scene at the party best illustrates how tough her situation is. Her daughter is rebellious, her husband is clearly Pro imperial, but can keep it discrete. So much so her childhood friend that she is able is unable to understand her angle until she makes it clear as she makes the comment of, "Maybe my politics are too strong for your tastes."
• The last few episodes had the Syril & mom scene where it is just awkward and there isn't much love between them. Meanwhile, Cassian saying goodbye to Maarva is heartbreaking because she is the most person he doesn't want to lose. It makes you wonder what she would think if she knew he was part of the raid on the garrison.
• Cassian ending up in prison, goes back to Maarva saying you can't run from the empire. The ironic part he has been running away from them, but these are false charges. .

yea and each batch is like an arc and one year in time. So looks like we spanning 4 years to close out the story/show.

Honestly, the series elevates the OT in such an amazing way. OT is easily the first experience everyone should have with the series. But got especially for those that grew up with the OT, Andor is a godsend.

Up through episode 9, my god as my comment above shows how well this enhances how terrifying and how scum the empire.

• The whole torture scene with Biggs sets the tone of the episode well. Which isn't something too far removed from what we seen, but more so her screams is where it nails.
• God how introduction of the prison is so good.
• First it has the prisoners working in shifts. Very much work for the empire or fear for your life. Of course Kino Loy is under the impression that he will serve his time he will have his freedom.
• On one hand, I do like how Cassian and the other prisoners rally around the old man despite signs of slowly dying is apparent.
• The big head drop in the episode is when the Medic decides to kill the old man to put him out of their misery as he is aware that everyone was killed from level 2. Better for the old man to rest in peace now then to stay in this shyt prison any longer.
• For Koy his whole world clearly comes crashing down. When his time is up he won't be free, but rather he will still be a pawn or tool of the empire. The change in his realization finally gives Cassian the answer that he realizes Empire looks as them as slaves and tools. Very much so they are easier to maintain then droids.

This gives the Empire much threatening evil presence to what Luthen is trying to fight against.

Also, Vel being Mon Mothma's cousins adds an interesting wrinkle. Also, really brings up the question with characters like Luthen, Mon and Vel who are part of higher standing, what makes them fight the empire and what is it that wants them to make a difference.

Through episode 10 and my god, episode 9 provided the perfect assist for episode 10 to nail the prison break.

Honestly, for Kino he was struck with fear as soon as he realized the empire wasn't letting him or any of his men out alive. With Cassian leader the charge, he needed Kino to be the voice that would lead the prisoners. One way out symbolizing that there is only one way for them to get their freedom back and that is to charge out when the opportunity presents himself. Cassian's skills here are undoubtedly the MVP. Kino's sacrifice is so meaningful of his comment I am a dead man. It was not if I stay here I am a dead man, but rather the one way out would mean his death. Though his sacrifice started a rebellion, and potentially they could let the outside know what was happening. Which, of course, is a big spark for the rebellion.

As Cassian and Kino shined, so does Luthen in his conversation with Lonni. I mentioned before the dark side of the empire, but we also see the dark side of the rebellion as well. Luthen is so strategically on point, but at the same point, he is cold. He knows what needs to be done even if it ain't pretty. In terms of the upcoming Rebellion, he is a realist, as we know Mon Mothma is an idealist who is facing the reality of the situation. Though the point when Luthen was asked what he sacrificed, and essentially, he sacrificed everything. Much like how Kino sacrificed everything for the rest of the prisoners to escape, which draws a brilliant parallel between these two.

While we see Kino's sacrifice and everything Luthen has sacrificed for the rebellion, will Mon sacrifice her daughter to an arranged marriage to support the rebellion. Keep in mind how awful of a relationship that Mon Mothma has with her husband. Could she push that on her own daughter? As well know, her relationship with her daughter has been on thin ice, and they are always against each other. Not to mention one wrong move and Mon is fukked. But it is difficult to see the idealist in Mon going for that. What she does going forward is fascinating.

Watching up to Episode 11 and man Maarva's death hits home. B2EMO saying he doesn't want to be alone, but he wants to be with Maarva man . Cassian finally getting out of prison and getting that news fukking hurts. When you consider he got arrested on false charges. He got his freedom (within the current landscape of the series), but he won't get that time to even talk or check up on Maarva. More and more, we see Cassian is getting closer to fighting for what Maarva would be proud of him. Him and Melshi separating for now, but with a common goal in mind. Telling how truly evil the empire and now.

Luthen literally left that the Imperial Officer speechless as he deactivated the tractor beam and went into light speed. Considering all of the connection he has, who was Luthen before founding the Rebellion? His conversation with Saw was fantastic. Saw is on board, but Luthen again wants the empire to be overconfident. Though the sacrifices would make anyone uncomfortable because it would make you what if that is me?
