Homegirl was sitting in the suite talking about "I don't want to lose"

Well, ya ass ain't an Ewok so yo ass going to lose.

Speaking of Teddy Bear Vietnam, it's been 50 years to the day since the Vietnamese beat the greatest empire ever created. They call it Liberation day. You though they ran out of Afghanistan with they tail between they legs
I have a lot of immediate family that fought in that war, I don't see the joke or celebration here fam.

I knew as soon as that person showed up what was going to happen on that mission.

I love how they make sure to compare and contrast the perspectives of rebellion and authoritarianism.

Luthan is trying to set as many small fires as he can while Andor is thinking about winning to see another day. On the flip side you got the Empire all jockey for position or holding their own fiefdom

Loddi with a 5 points, 8 assists and 5 rebounds performance in limited minutes from the bench :wow: got the info on Dedra, got the info on Dr. Gorst and helped get rid of bug in Skuldun's exhibit. :salute:

Kleya with a game stealing performance in an elimination game as well :wow:

This batch felt even more like a movie than the first one. Waiting for 4 and 5 would've felt like too long, imo, they were perfect as a binge watch so Ep. 6 would feel as dope as it did :ohlawd:

Luthen so cotdamn ruthless. Gave Vela and Cinta their reunion knowing the Ghorman Front is fukked. Gave Dr. Gorst to Bix after Cassian went  on him.

Special mention to Saw's crazy ass :russ: made Wilmon vreak in less than a week :mjcry: (another example of Luthen being one fukked up guy, all for The Cause).

PS: New Bail Organa, made go Google if something had happened to Jimmy Smits but I read it was just scheduling conflicts and Gilroy just went with a recast because it was a cameo.
Cassian is showing that hes smarter than Luthan at reading the lay of the land.
I don't think it's about that. The whole exchange with Luthen shows how differently they both are approaching the rebellion. Luthen just wants a "traditional/famous" planet to join in so when the Empire starts destroying, there's chances other planets will start questioning them. Andor tries to cares about the people not just go in blindly and treat their lives like they are chess pieces and gets pissed at Luthen because he realizes he doesn't give a fukk about no damn Ghorman Front.

shyt, Luthen and Kleya already knew Cassian would say not to the mission -Kleya literally says so- that's why they had Vel on call at the ready and Cinta as "bait". He knew those two would probably pull the heist off and give the Ghorman Front the W they needed and whatever happens next it's all gravy in the grand scheme of the cause.

No Whammies!!
Luthen's dialogue with both Cassian & Mon really pushes through where he is willing to go to lengths either aren't willing to go. As Luthen mentions, Cassian needs to think like a leader instead of a solider. Cassian knew it from the jump that those people in Ghorman were noway ready. Although for Luthen he wants to create Chaos for the empire to take notice and let them be even more arrogant. Though in many ways the Ghorman people are just a sacrifice to him. There is no doubt the fight and the case he is 100% on the money on what they need to do. Though him not understanding why Mon was asking about her cousin shows he is a bit detached because her asking about her because she cares for her. Luthen is so soaked up in this rebellion that doesn't click. Though it could also be an emphasis that he knows that more than likely, he won't be around for when they finally take down the Empire.

Also, I like the parallel between Luthen keeping secrets from Cassian much like how Dedra is keeping secrets from Syril is fascinating. We're already seeing Cassian getting irritated with Luthen because Bix's health is still fukked. Plus, we know with the real mission that Krennic has assigned to Dedra. At some point, what happens when Syril learns of the reality. Or will he still stick his guns for the empire? His character has gotten a lot more interesting as time goes on.

This show is fantastic at creating tension. As we see Kleya getting rid of the bug alongside of the activity on Ghorman. The Ghorman scene very much alludes to what Cassian meant that they weren't ready. It is quite ironic that Vel wouldn't take the mission without Cinta, but her coming brought her a death that no one would have expected. Curious how Vel moves forward. Also, I wonder if Mon didn't ask the questions to Krennic I wonder if Kleya would have been able to take out the bug without Krennic drawing suspicon. She might have picked on something which could be a small bit of development for her.

I was surprised that Bix went and infiltrated the "Doctor" that interrogated her. Though I did hear some people mention that her conversation with Luthen was a mean of motivation. It basically was a job without outlining it as one. Kind of the best thing about this series as every piece of dialogue is important and some subtle points like that can be easy to miss. It does look that Bix is finally back on track and Luthen did know that Cassian wouldn't leave her behind, plus this helps her recover from her trauma a bit to add.

It's kind of crazy to me that Luthen and Deedra literally want the same thing. They all want the Ghorman Front to mess up and get slaughtered by the Empire. That happening would benefit both sides...except for the planet Ghoman itself :mjcry:

Visiting friends? :ld:
:wtb: Why do you ask?
:leostare: I'm curious by nature.
:smugfavre:I have friends everywhere...

That spy shyt :wow:

Several points in this arc reminded me of "The Americans"

Yeah, these latest 3 episodes really ratcheted up the spy craft.

The margin for error is very small on both sides, and all it takes is a stuck listening devic]e or stray blaster shot to determine life or death. On that scene, a question

The guy who stumbled along the heist and who was supposed to get shot, instead of Cinta was just a random person at night? But he carried Cinta's body back to the convoy.... I might not be remembering it right

I wonder how the Empire will respond to that explosion in Coursant
Deidre gonna spend the entire next year during the time jump hunting Andor :wow:.

I gotta say, I need a Tarkin appearance or a "Lord Vader" mention in the next few episodes since we're so close to rogue one now. Vader has a lot of power at this stage.

He's the same guy that was at the Ghorman Front meeting that wouldn't shut up about the Empire building an armory and that the Ghormans should do something about it. Tbh, I was surprised he wasn't in the heist job, he was the most down for the cause dude out of the whole meeting :heh:
