I'm a fan of the show. My point was from my understanding; the viewership was low so the only way we would get more stuff like this is if it wins awards (acclaim). But if said something wrong than I said something wrong. :yeshrug:

dunno about all that.

the show was acclaimed is my point.

"right" or "wrong"? only a sith deals in absolutes.

Andor was the only Star Wars anything I've watched outside of the movies and this series I'm putting above many of the movies post George Lucas first run, I'm deadass. It makes Rogue One so much better. This is the type of spinoff you want in IP that you love. By far one of the best shows Disney+ has done and they rushed it off in a matter of weeks. Three episode debut? I get it ok, but three episodes each week afterward? Unacceptable, knowing how good of series you had and the discussion that would've came with it.

I'm right there with you on everything but the 3 episode drops. I really liked the 3 ep drops with their mini stories. It reminded me of the times watching Luther and Sherlock with their damn near 2 hour episodes, and those were great shows.

yes, weekly drops are annoying, I think 3 episodes a week is a great compromise between 1 episode a week and the whole season at once .

I'm so happy that I waited for the entire series to drop to watch it. This show was amazing from beginning to end. Very well written. Andor is basically a sci-fi espionage. Too many things to highlight. A few thoughts:

There's the first heist; I knew he was going to clap cuz from The Bear as soon as he started talking that shyt. The prison saga was dope. Didn’t even recognize Melchi. So many awards need to go out for set design, editing, and acting. The actress that played Dedra killed it. That bytch got too big for her britches and ended up in the gulag. Anyone felt bad for her?

I guess Jimmy Smiths was too busy, or wanted too much money to return. They told that dumb b*stard not to carry a blaster. And what does he go do? I still dont understand why that guy interrupted them. Shorty was a gangster and about her business. I didn’t feel beat over the head with a gay agenda. Everything was done tastefully. And I felt bad it ended that way for them. The series adds so much more depth to Rogue One. More thoughts to come later.

Because he was just trying to see what was going on. He sees the military cargo shyt crashed or w/e and sees something sketchy. On top of that he drunk and probably ready for some shyt to go down anyway because of his frustration with the Ghorman resistance not doing anything. He was one of the dudes speaking at the rebellion meeting. It couldve been as simple as him wanting to go fukk up the cargo vehicle, to feel like he doing something to fight the empire. Then you got this random walking up to you saying "go away, this isnt for you". He probably felt like "nikka, who the fukk you talking to? :dahell: " and dude pulls a gun because he too inexperienced to defuse the situation w/o violence. The young dude shouldve known that was a person in the rebellion meetings, he couldve defused it on some "Hey, it's me Youngguy from the rebillion meeting, we up to some shyt :myman:, chill out so we dont get caught" and dude wouldve listened.

Got you. Then he sees that they are the resistance and offers to help them with the body.

This was how I interpreted the scene, but straight up Ol Dude's motivation to "karen" in that situation was lost to me at first.

Like how you at a Rebel meeting, but you still playing unlicensed cop?

Cause had ol boy been Black.....

Man the opening three episodes were pretty rough in comparison to S1. Should I expect the same quality for the rest of S2?

Tbh I could maybe see someone not loving the first 2 episodes of S2.

Starting episode 3 it takes off again and just keeps getting better :wow:

Just started watching it and finished the first 2 episodes.

All the other storylines seem like a solid setup for what's coming but Cassian in the jungle was a waste of time. WTF was the point in showing all those scenes? They could have cut it to 1 scene, 'hey Porko is dead, let Cassian bounce' and focused on the other storylines.

Looking forward to the rest of the series though. Some intriguing storylines.
