When I finished the last ep, I IMMEDIATELY rewatched Rogue One right after. It's not perfect, but damn if it doesnt feel that way.
I said it in this thread before, and Im comfortable in saying it again: Barring nostalgia, the two are my favorite pieces of "official" star wars related anything.

Oh, and I LUH how it establishes Cassian as one of THE most important people in the mythos... but it does it in a way where he's not some all conquering hero, high ranking military figure/politician or power levelling messianic archtype.

Man, I've been missing out. This is honestly the best show I've watched in years, at least since Succession went off the air. I'm boutta fire up Rogue One soon for the first time.So many rich and compelling characters from Syril to Luthen to Partagaz, even homeboy that wrote the manifesto that died early in the series. There’s this deep sense of sentimentality throughout that really sticks with you.
