They still not out the woods yet with me. They've only tuned it off for now, not for good.

This tells me the game hasn't sold as well as they projected out the gate cause this is a desperation move if I've ever seen one.

Let's not be silly. There's gonna be microtransactions of some sort. All that future content being released. They have to be able to fund that somehow.

But that doesn't mean it'll be pay to win. So I'm not gonna start losing my mind because they said it would be back in the future. Just don't tie the shyt to progression.

I get it breh honestly I've only purchased season passes for games I know I'll put a considerable amount of time in (Battlefield series NRS games ect..).I don't know what the answer is but this clearly isn't it judging by the backlash.BTW Arkham Knight might've been the worst season pass of all time

Destiny and Overwatch got some of the best models out there. Keep people engaged with seasonal tempo and heavy involvement with the community, all purchases are cosmetic/aesthetic, (some) of that money goes into producing more content to keep the season tempo going, make dope movies to stay in people's timelines, rinse and repeat. Currencies aren't staggeringly off balance at the surface level either.

Imagine if they had Luke's stormtrooper outfit or Slave Leia as content you could buy in Battlefront 2 instead of legit paying for skills that make the Millennium Falcon straight up unkillable? No one would've said a word and they would've secured the bag for the next 2 years. EA fukked up their money - and potentially everyone else's by drawing government attention to gambling (gambling money = government's money, EA fukked with the wrong ones for real).
