no way this is real.

I thought TFA was basically a soft retelling of ANH, following many of the same beats. But there's no way a different director/writer comes in and simply re-does Empire while adding one of the dumbest twists I've ever heard. JJ Abrams has always been a glorified Steven Spielberg/George Lucas cover band but the guy who is doing the next film seems rather original to me.

It's funny. Me and my brothers didn't really fukk with TFA but my parents LOVED it. I went with my dad and dude was acting like a little kid lmao, he was allll in. My mom saw it a week after I did and loved it too. Dunno I guess the film re-captured the magic for them and many older people. But for my late 20s ass I thought it was just a big pandering film. Like "hey remember this? How about more of this!" Nah I'm good. It's not terrible or bad, it was just forgettable.

I love Kylo Ren tho. One of the best "villains" I've seen in a long time. I hope he has a major role in the next film. Kinda hoping that by the end Kylo is the good guy and Rey turns to the dark side....
