Game just came out and you already beat it. Is this game even challenging?

Yes but only if you crank it up in difficulty.

It's honestly a pretty short game unless you go exploring constantly. Tbh I actually explored alot and it still only took me like 12 hours maybe. So you can beat in your free time in a week

I like a game that doesn't take forever but that's way too short for $60. I'll probably get Greedfall first. Thanks breh

How challenging is it?

Its not difficult the bosses don't really have that many attacks and you will get the pattern down fast, nothing changes with the difficulty either, On the easy difficulties you can reflect the blaster shots by parrying as soon as they fire, on the hardest setting you have to wait until its about to hit you to reflect it back, and you take more damage when you get hit, that's it

I had to turn the difficulty down because I suck at games like nioh and dark souls

I copped this, Nioh, Spider-Man AND Arkham Origins.

Theres a reason why I always played sports games...cause I fukkin SUCK at these types of jawns. They are fun as hell, but I'm just not used to these engines yet....

Is RDR2 the same? Was gonna get that yesterday but fell asleep....

It's higher than I thought it would be in my list, but Sekiro is a better version of this very game imo

This is my thoughts on it so far. I've "finished" 2 planets (I know you need to come back) and overall it feels like a lesser version of Sekiro. Combat isn't as fluid, the timing on parrying doesn't feel quite as tight and traversal is actually worse imo. How many damn slides are there on these planets lol?
Still a lesser Sekrio is still like an 7-8/10 game (Sekiro is an easy 10/10 GOTY candidate), I would put this closer to 7/10 so far mainly cause the performance is atrocious and the game feels slightly buggy.
It is fun though. Where the hell is my fast travel though? This actually makes it less likely for me to back track

Probably gonna be based on expectations and what you paid for it. I like it, but I didn’t anything extra to pay for it since I got Origin Premier, and I also came in with middling expectations.

It’s like a 7/10 version of Sekiro mixed with a 7/10 metroidvania, and combined into like an 8/10 overall

Every time I think about getting back into this, I get more of an urge to go back through Sekiro I imagine I'm most of the way through too.

And I started Sekiro again the day after I beat it I would definitely say it’s (Sekiro) my GOTY edging out RE2.

I had never heard of this game prior to this thread, so I looked up a gameplay walkthrough on YouTube to see what y'all screamin, and watched for about 45 mins....


....maaan, ain't no WAY I'd be any good at this damn game.

Plus the beginning was on some bullshyt, how you murk Genichiro TWICE but end up losing? Please tell me you Bruce Leroy the shyt outta that fakkit later on....

I played it. The rest of their games aren’t really for me. I like Sekiro because there’s really only one mode of combat that you have to master. Rest of their games are too open for me
