I don't believe for one second the new franchise of Star Wars movies won't focus on a Jedi. Finn obviously is going to be a Jedi. Are you saying Daisy is a Jedi, or will be one? If so, then co-lead I can buy. But I think after movie 1, Finn will emerge as the true lead.

I have not read any spoilers but yes I imagine Rey will wield a lightsaber eventually.

Yeah I think in terms of who is the lead and gets screen time Daisey-Luke while Finn and Poe are Han/Leia. The fact that it seems like Finn might already be a Jedi (thus less room for character development) than if Daisey becomes one, meaning ultimately it'll be about her journey.

Daisy and John will both be Jedi's in training but they have been highlighting John with Anakin/Luke's Blue Saber so he's going to be a big deal.

Well, just because he's not THE lead doesn't mean he won't be ill.

TBH, I've always felt that LANDO was the best character in ROTJ. I'm disappointed that he's not involved with this, am hoping he shows up in some fashion in later sequels.
