I keep getting excited about this then remember what they did to Finn's character in TFA and immediately all hype is gone. If my friends weren't really hyped for it I may have waited for the home release.

Yeah Campea already laid his cards on the table regarding Finn and Phasma. In the Phasma novel she is a beast - compares her to Furiosa in Fury Road - so he doesn't want Finn to be able to touch her. Says it would destroy the book to movie canon.



If he came out loving Finns story I would be more worried

Yeah Campea already laid his cards on the table regarding Finn and Phasma. In the Phasma novel she is a beast - compares her to Furiosa in Fury Road - so he doesn't want Finn to be able to touch her. Says it would destroy the book to movie canon.



If he came out loving Finns story I would be more worried

Even if Finn beat her it doesnt prove anything because her character and build up was tarnish by TFA.

I haven’t read the comics but I think they tried to “fix” that there relative to cannon. Not saying you are wrong because most people won’t delve that far but that might be part of his stance on the whole thing.

Stopped messing with him and the Collider Jedi Council a long time ago because I kept getting subtle racist undertones with them regarding Finn (not wanting him to have the force or being more heroic than certain "other" characters)

I just mostly watch Urban Acolyte videos when it comes to anything Star Wars on youtube.
