Well, you atleast can view some of the dope scenes..i know im one of the few that defend it here, cause the script was a mess, and its now JJ’s time to right the ship, story wise..this movie did give great looking scenes, and shyt that made my inner star wars nerd orgasim (opening scene with the x wing, that vacuum sound effect with the hammerhead, and how great the visual of red planet under the salt). Wonder how that hour and a half documentary is

I'm gonna use the t-mobile tuesday VUDU credit and cop the UHD digital. Even though I own all the previous Star Wars movies on disc I refuse to let this movie take up one of my few remaining free spaces on my shelf.

Maybe by the time the 9 movie collection comes out in a 4K collection I'll be over it.

There’s a documentary series on Netflix right now about various popular toy franchises. There’s an episode on the Star Wars craze of the 70’s and 80’s... as well as an episode on GI Joe and Barbie.

There was also an episode on He-Man and Masters of the Universe, and for those that don’t know... that was the most profitsble toy line in the world for a few years. Literally came out of nowhere and DOMINATED in sales.

What’s interesting though is that it didn’t just gradually fade away... in fact the fall of the franchise came very suddenly. One year they were on top of the world and the next year they were struggling to break even.

One of the execs in the documentary, even to this very day, blames it all on SHEERA.

Again for those that don’t know Sheera was basically the female He-Man and was created to appeal to little girls. Before you knew it she was all in the videos and they started branding shyt as HE-MAN and SHEERA.

The exec claims that this drove boys away from He-Man because all of a sudden now girls were playing with it... and once your little sister starts playing with the same toys as you... you don’t wanna play with it anymore.

The same will inevitably happen with Star Wars. Little boys don’t wanna play with REY or JYN URSO. Even the “big bad guy” Kylo Ren got his ass kicked by a girl in the movie. Who would wanna play as that fakkit?

obi wan in the first movie was pretty cool and was a badass. he was wise, he had the sand people shook, he chopped off that dudes arm in the cantina, he went toe to toe with vader... he was a G.

a newbie to star wars won't have that same opinion of luke after seeing TLJ. he wasn't wise, he wasn't tough, he was insecure... and he lost to rey in a fight. oh and yea he drinks weird walrus milk...

then of course you have finn who is a complete nobody. he's not good at anything... constantly portrayed as a beta.

poe is kinda cool in the traditional sense because he's a cocky pilot and actually blows shyt up... but he's also made to look like an idiot so that admiral granny panties can shine.

kylo ren is of course the furthest thing away from a cool villain... he's a whiny bytch who got his ass kicked by a girl.


there is NO male figure in these movies worth a god damn... let alone one that would make a good action figure

The same thing happened with rogue one. I just dont give a shyt about any of these characters. I guess i fell about SW the same way most SW fans feel about LOTR movies

TFA was clearly a reboot with a similar story as a new hope. But that's not a bad thing since that's a classic movie. I enjoyed it.

TLJ is just a clusterfukk of nonsense. Why were the one liners in this movie right from the get go? Why was Luke milking aliens and fishing? That kinda fukkery had never taken place in a star movie ever. It was cartoonish.

Also killing like was pointless. He didn't even train ray. And the Jedi training scenes were fukking retarded to boot.

The casino scenes and horse racing was dumb as well. The Rose character was forced into the plot in order for Finn to have a storyline?
