Palpatine was George plan for the new trilogy, as a condition to selling Lucas film he asked Iger to buy those scripts...

That is also why Kennedy is the head of Lucas Film, George felt she would back his vision and pushed for her to take the lead...

Disney never went forward with it in favor of that soft ANH reboot trash JJ put together...

Now they're back tracking to George because of how much the fanbase hates the new trilogy...

Its disgusting...
