Not out here, there is an Ethiopian spot, a Cuban spot and two Lebanese places here that serve their own coffee, 100x better than DD or Starbucks.
I actually preferred Caribou before they closed all of the ones nearby down.

Caribou was good though.

My family grew coffee for generations. Granpops had hectares pon hectares of that shyt and didn't ever make much off it. I can't buy overpriced cups of that shyt from cacs as a result. I try to go fair trade but like most Africans actually prefer to drink tea instead of which they have trash

Ethiopioan coffee is the best, most flavorful and robust coffee I've ever had.

Its like when kids go to lunch and they all have good lunches because their moms love and appreciate them.

But then you have that one kid who's lunch is subpar, like its food, but that's just it, not fulfilling and not much to admire. Like you can tell this kid has a Step Mom and shyt.

That's what Starbucks is, it's essentially the stepmom of coffee and coffee asscerories.

I'm somewhat of a coffee snob (my grinder alone was $200), but I like it for what it is. I only drink it if I'm in a pinch and only their iced variants though.

It's a mixed bag in my expierence.

But I must say I absolutely LOVE shytting in their bathrooms. Clean, smelling non descriptive and they either have Jazz or random pitchfork darlings blaring. I never felt more at home than dropping a few nuggets in their facilities.

Reminds me of my job two years ago when I use to clean toilets overnight.
