They really think they worth more than they are no hate. They work for a fast food joint and already have a level of prestige other chains don't. It's going to their heads. They are already the most stuck up fast food workers.

Good.
Starbucks makes crazy money.

Workers deserve a bigger cut.
I’m all for more benefits for workers.

You guys have been conditioned to believe that certain jobs deserve low pay. As if they don’t help generate hundreds of millions or billions of dollars for C-Suite.

Y’all love that free market bullshyt until the workers value comes into the equation.

who wants to work for 16 dollars an hour making coffee while getting chewed out by karens for 8 hours
Plenty of people. Every time I go into a Starbucks they seem over staffed.

Besides, you’re acting like the average worker has any leverage. Mufukkas are taking any job they can get, particularly young folks.

Everyone , when there are layoffs. Especially with a better employer like Starbucks that gives it's part time people both health insurance and a huge education stipend .

until covid i would agree with this. people are fed up. even the church's chicken near me has a sign up offering $15-16/hr and that sign hasn't come down. covid basically doubled minimum wage around here, and people still dont want those shyt jobs... i suspect its because covid and isolation drove cacs crazy. i couldnt imagine having to deal with the public nowadays.

This is true. I see this everywhere in my area, particularly when it comes to restaurant and grocery stores and this type of spot.

Starbucks doesn’t seem to be suffering though. For whatever reason, they always seem to be fully staffed lol.
