One of my coworkers has a 9-month old son.
He said day care for his son runs him about $300 a week.

It is not a game out there with child expenses.
I want kids but the more I learn about the financial aspect of it...I'm in no rush.

Its $160 a week in Miami, day care was never cheap, and with increased regulation people can get into a lot of trouble running one out their house. So the only option is to deal with a fully licensed day care.
