hes got a bad knee though apparently, thats why he slipped so far down the draft

bone to bone but hes been playing on it for 2 years so if he can stay healthy then he is a big steal

big if though

we picked up a good cb aswell, most probably be a slot corner as hes only 5ft 9
I dint know much about him but I just have a good feeling about the pick

Dunno how you guys feel, but Hickey pretty much nailed this draft. Got at least one player for each position of need except ILB, and drafted a bruising nose tackle to make up for that. Got a stud WR, a free safety, a corner, and a guard. Plus the corners and guards we've already accumulated in free agency.

We had a good draft, brehs :ehh:

Yeah those 5th rounders all look good
especially the short cb and RB.

That guard looks good from his highlights aswell and could be our LG in the future

Yeah. Makes not trading back into the 3rd seem like the right move overall. Especially if Phillips beats out Mitchell for the starting job.

And where are all the mofos that were crying when we didn't hire Ray Farmer?

Didn't i tell you guys to wait and see and just give Hickey a chance?:ld:
I mean i didn't know sh!t about the guy and i didn't like the way the owner went about the process but still they must have seen something in Hickey to give him the job at such a pivotal moment

I love the value of Ajayi, he might never be healthy enough to be a full time back but he doesn't have to be. just need some tough carries a game

Lippett might catch on as a corner, not sure what side they like him on. don't know much about either DB

Douglas was a first team Pac 12 tackle, that's a talent filled league. stumpy arms but that's why he'll be a guard, should be able to compete for one of the jobs

good draft, B+ on paper. hopefully Phillips, Douglas and one of the late round guys pan out

+ add the fact that he's playing for a new contract.
If i was a betting man I'd say Tannehill is about to have a pretty goo year :ehh:
Edit: adding Landry

Hold up. It's not like we chose not to hire Ray Farmer. Ray Farmer turned us down. Everyone turned us down. Hickey was basically our last choice. It was only natural for people to be pessimistic about his abilities.

They turned us down mainly because they wanted total control and Ross wasn't about to give them total control. Hickey was the only one who said he'd take just the GM role and be happy with that
