First, a black president in America isn't really much of an accomplishment for a couple reasons. One black people are still ,at best, second class ctizens in America. Secondly, It is more of an accomplishment to be the leader of YOUR OWN nation, not the 4 year employee to a nation that never wanted to accept you.
Every meme isn't made for every single person on the planet. This meme was a meme that was made by a black person that was intended to speak to other black people
Indenture Servitude (temporary slavery) was done ALL over the world. Europe, Asia, Africa, even in America. White people were indenture servants, everybody.
The African slave trade that happened in America was not like any of that. It was chattel slavery, meaning...Black people were considered property and did not have HUMAN rights. But with Indenture servitude, it was only temporary (almost like a jail sentence) and Indentured servants were considered people. They sat at the same tables, had their own room in the house. The maintained their names, culture and they were treated as humans.
But in Chattel slavery (American Slavery) Black people were treated worse than animals. They were only allowed to eat scraps, they stole their African names and culture. They weren't allowed to have education, they were physically tortured...black women and children were raped and black people murdered.
They forced black people to perform incest so that they could breed more slaves. THERE HAS NEVER BEEN A FORM OF SLAVERY AS CRUEL AS THIS ONE...EVER.
Out of curiosity, how old are you and what race are you. I ask because I want to know if you may be interested in learning more on this stuff or if you're just here to post comment on the meme.

Whether or not we were dropped off in the Caribbean, the Americas, Latin America or whatever. Fact is, we were scattered and left disoriented as a people.
I mean, if they're trying To speak specifically, then yeah, they fukked up. But I don't see the harm in trying to get black people from around the diaspora to unite and do better.
Maybe I'm just an optimist though.

Every black person wants to believe that their ancestors was on some Alex Haley shyt. Like some white folks just rolled up and stole them and shyt. Those upperclass nikkas, like the ones in that picture had slaves. Chances are they were black. Chances are they were your ancestors who got they black ass sold by another nikka to some white man.

I'm always for unity among blacks of various nations. Which is why i sometimes go out of my way to make fellow black friends from different nationalities. I dont have a beef with that meme either. Just saying that some black people in America only wanna acknowledge Egypt as their african ancestry. Read my original post and you will see the point i was trying to make
