Anyone know what directions to take to start networking once you get online certificates to show that you understand the skill?

Is there like a website where you can do challenges and stuff?

@Obreh Winfrey
LinkedIn is best for networking probably. Find people in the title you want and try to connect. Depending on how you fill out your LinkedIn recruiters will come to you. Practice:
LeetCode - The World's Leading Online Programming Learning Platform
Codewars | Coding Practice Sites | Code Challenge Sites | Code Dojo Classes
Practice | GeeksforGeeks | A computer science portal for geeks

Self taught is hard. I failed miserably in high school trying to teach myself C++. On a basic level it's just can you write a step by step set of instructions to complete a task. But no matter what I did, I couldn't grasp it until I was in a classroom setting.

Yeah..a good support system helps. Also people have to accept that fact that they are going to mess up A LOT. Programming is just a different beast

Bro that’s my energy now and thanks I literally only sleep 4 hours a day for this stuff lol.

it will be worth it in the end. I’m keeping my energy by working out eating healthy and drinking lots of espresso lmao
Do you have a regular 9-5 job ? For me personally the hardest part about trying to learn code with a job is that by the time I get home from work I'm fukking tired. I'm gonna keep pushing though.

EDIT : Nvm just saw your post

Has anyone ever heard of a course called '100 Days of Code' ? Seeing good things about it and thinking about signing up. Anyone ever took it ? 100 Days of Code - The Complete Python Pro Bootcamp for 2021

EDIT : Really good course so far. The tutor makes everything super simple to understand. Definitely recommend , 3 days in

Just finished writing my first piece of code that I can actually feel proud of.

It's a simple number guessing game :lolbron: (guess a number between 1-100 that's generated randomly) with an "easy" and "hard" mode and a attempt counter which gives you a limited amount of tries.

It's a real simple code, nooby stuff but I'm ngl it took me like an hour or maybe more but it feels great man.

If I can make these small steps as a complete noob I know yall can as well. Hope you guys are continuing the journey and wishing everybody the best

I started this journey in 2017 with html css and js

lets just say it changed my life

one word of advice is stick with it because this will be a long and frustrating(but rewarding) journey but give yourself some time away from code too. like 5 days a week go hard 2 days a week no code or minimal code(no computer even better)

let me know if u ever have and front end questions
