Also, I think your issue might be in setting boundaries. Not everyone can or wants to connect on that level even though forming such a connection might come naturally to you. At the end of the day, being genuine doesn't always factor in other people's socialization, and friendship as a concept can be on a large spectrum--especially in large cities.
Thanks for this post, I almost forgot. I try to be honest and righteous. I have become more like op, but I always understood I do this cause it's the right thing to do. I will probably never get a win from this, shyt I know for a fact I've taken Ls by being honest.

i had this realization last weekend. Empathy has caused me to be genuine, make great art, make genuine although few and far friends. It has allowed me to connect with people on the deepest level imaginable. but unfortunately, I've come to the conclusion that it is overrated.
As a built big black man, I have lived a great deal of my life with everyone being scared of me. In order to fit into society, I had to learn how to "make people feel comfortable", because just my presence alone makes people uncomfortable. I can walk through a crowd and people will shy away from eye contact with me when i know they clearly see me. They are either scared, or jealous of the power and presence i possess (i get this from lots of insecure "bodybuilders" and shyt).
After seeing how I am treated by the bulk of society and how i am at the mercy of their stereotypes, their racism, their preconceived notions, and their false image of me, I really understand why the world is the way it is now. People aren't shyt and don't deserve to be saved. They don't deserve a "perfect" society. They are fueled by their ego, greed and jealousy. They truly don't deserve peace and happiness. fukk em all. The only answer is to capitalize off of their ignorance and insecurity. Who cares about their true needs. Just take their resources and leave them be, because they deserve to be emotionally and financially raped.
It even got so deep that i realized that I cant even take ANYTHING including racism personally. That shyt has nothing to do with me. Sure, I am affected by it, but I realize that it is an agenda that is pushed to divide the masses so they're not unified to create a better world and they are wasting their energy on inferior things and distractions that will keep other people in power. I fukk with very little people and I will give them my empathy, but I realize that the vast majority of humans don't DESERVE a better world. They wouldn't even know what to do in it or how to operate in such a peaceful and happy place because their minds are built from HATE and INSECURITY. USE these knuckleheads for your best benefit because that's all they are worth besides the negativity they bring into this world.

Very empathic here. Hard to accept but everybody ain't as aware or cares to be made aware of others experiences and feelings. It's difficult, naturally being considerate of others when it's not reciprocated. This world will turn yuy heartless and cold if you let it.

Yeah you gotta be secure with yourself. As a successful black man it's essentially lonely at the top though. Downright depressing to be honest. Black life in this country isn't important and it's constantly reinforced.I'm reminded of this everyday living in a city where blacks are only like 5% of the population, meanwhile black people in my city are mainly seen working lower income jobs and rarely in position of management or power. The floor is literally is literally being a bum walking on the street with shyt stained pants. That can't and won't be me, so I'm forced to adapt and work hard as fukk at my craft.
As a black man, you have to come to realization early in life, that there is no safety net for us. The same mechanism of fallback infrastructure either doesn't exist for us, or we don't rightfully take advantage of a way to do better. One thing is for sure though if you're secure in yourself and your abilities there's no limit to what you can accomplishment, despite what anyone says or believes. I see brehs everyday who defy the odds and are in places, that they "shouldn't", but they have a unique skill set or just choose to think outside the box, and not the let pressures of society and expectations of doing less or glass ceiling stop them.
Antiblackness in society reinforces a mindset which causes black people to hate ourselves. It mentally restricts us from doing better, but you can't stay stuck in this mindset as a mental midget.
I'd recommend reading some strong black literature. Entails the richness and creativeness of black people.
As far as acceptance fukk that shyt. Learn to be a leader. Innovators don't worry about acceptance because they're too busy to being a pioneer. People will blindly follow when you're in charge. My presence and the way I conduct myself irl commands respect.
As far as fake people, if you're over the age of 21, you should be able to detect when people are being fake and insincere, just learn to never put any true stock or merit into what they say.
At the end of the day, across races of the spectrum, there's a universal truth, real recognizes real. People with fukk you no matter what, if you're a real person. That's should show you have many people in this world are fake.
Here's an example: If you're about making moves and money, other people who are really about making moves and money will fukk wit you despite differences.
I'm empathetic but I choose to be. I only help those that can't really help themselves. Everyone else can

But, IMO, you're looking at it wrong.
Having the ability to make people comfortable... to get them to lower their guard and be genuine in your presence... that's a gift. I know because I've cultivated the same gift.
Be careful with what you said, though, about The only answer is to capitalize off their ignorance and insecurity. That might seem like the way to go in the short term but ultimately it will lead to a life of empty relationships, and you will eventually manipulate and hurt someone who genuinely cares about you, only to find that you were searching for that genuine connection in the first place. Again, I've been there.
