State of Play made me realize something concerning about Sony.

They no longer have to go hard on first party ip since they are now the default console of choice. Also with no competion the price is going up on services, games and hardware. Basically these nikkaz going to be doing Nintendo prices.

This is a dumb take lol. They don't have to go hard on showcases since they've been criticized in the past for blowing their load years ahead just to have the game take 4~5 years later to release from announcement.
Microsoft was the "loser" in terms of gaming and yet they increased the price of Gamepass? It doesn't work like that.

Huge single player exclusives are a huge risk, and need huge investment to make money.

Been telling yall this for years. You will get very few of those games cause they just don’t make sense economically.

Sony only has ~4 AAA studios. Games take like 7 years to complete now.

You are only looking at like 4-6 “sony exclusives” per gen going forward.

This is the new reality. Yall so worried about xbox and console wars that you have not taken the time to step back and look at the entire industry for what it is

Majority of PS5 output has been remasters and cross gen multiplat releases. The same thing we were accusing Microsoft in terms of first party is happening with Sony either you choose to see it or not.

lot of people have converted or haven't played a lot of these games that get remasters, the market is there or they wouldn't be made whether we like it or not

I'm not buying any of em unless I haven't played or finished the originals. I don't replay shyt I've already done.

Bottom line is cats are mad because they know Xbox as a hardware brand is done, but instead of placing the blame where it belongs, it's Sony fault.
