I clicked on the link. The article is actually about a live-action TV show based on "The Phantom".


There's just a single sentence saying that a Static film is in "development" and no other info besides that. Honestly, that means nothing. There's allegedly been a Static movie "in development" for years now...

Its apparently in development from Reginald Hudlin (House Party, Boomerang, Candy Cane Lane) who is now co-owner of Milestone Comics from which Static was created.


I hope they do Static justice. RIP Dwayne Mcduffie.
