yeah I mean IMO the worst thing you can really say about Statik's albums is that they're sort of B-grade versions of DJ Premier and Pete Rock joints. But that's not the worst thing in the world, and it's actually better than most of what's out there now.

But even if Statik doesn't make a ton of beats that blow me away, they're consistent, above average, and he gets good artists on his projects.
