Kendrick's verse will win the year just of the shytstorm it will (already has) unleashed, but Thought been dropping verse of the year contenders every year since '96 so I ain't even mad.

I fail to see what's so special about Kendrick's verse, in the middle it imploded because he called out all the rappers of the new era and claimed to be the king of this rap shyt. But technically when you look at his entire verse it wasn't better than Black Thought's.
IMO, the verse of the year was A$AP Rocky's verse on Suddenly.
