suffice to say I never caught any major STD's. I have a very strong immune system and/or maybe washing my dikk off right nutting in a chic I guess kept me safe. The most I had was a UTI which was surprising considering the type chics and multitudes of women I ran thru during my demonic days. I had scares most definitely. I dont think much people here know about the difference between genital herpes aka herpes 2 and oral herpes aka herpes 1.

While oral herpes/herpes 1 is common and will give your cold sores.

Genital herpes/herpes 2 is not common so dont have these guys here walking into a fire.

Didn't the South African president say that he showered after having knowingly having sex with a woman with HIV because he thought that would help prevent transmission? There are effective and proven ways to of reducing the risks of being infected, no need to go claiming myths as "one of the smartest things one can do."

I just had one of my cousins cut a chick off because she said she had an untreatable STD. I couldn't really blame him, they hadn't messed around yet, but it was deff headed in that direction. Props on her for disclosing it though.

Anyways, I'm trying to talk about the underbelly of the dating world. shyt is real, even if folks want to ignore it. Y'all ever been in that type of situation? Or dealt with a treatable one? Or knew somebody? What would be y'all move? I know it's out there, but it's a taboo subject in the real world.

Never been in that situation but I work in the STD section of the department of health and trust me, it's real out here when to comes to these STD's. I've said it before but I'll say it again. It's one thing to read stats released every year but to put a name to it is something else.

This shiit right here scares me...for real. Im glad they got home STD testing kits now...niiggas need to cop a few kits and test a chick before you fuuck. Test yourselves as well.

but where are the kits for them permanent STDs that don't kill...like herpes? Those are scariest STDs.

The worst thing about having an STD/STI is the stigma attached. If all of these diseases and infections came from non sexual sources people would look at them like inconvenient infections and be done with it. Plus the names just scream disgusting. Herpes. HIV/AIDS would be looked at like diabetes if it wasn't transmitted sexually. That's the stigma though, if you have an STD you are considered dirty. That's life.
