Steam Exploration Sale (11/25/2015 - 12/01/2015)

Elite Dangerous is pretty cool, but there's really no hand-holding. there's some good tutorials that show you how to fly, dock, travel, etc, but when you get in-game it's really not clear what you're supposed to do. missions on the bulletin board be in star-systems I can't even get to yet

Yeah, this sale has been pretty uneventful. Half my wish list isn't even on sale, and the other games are like 15% off. Still got like 6 games though. Hopefully we'll see bigger discounts during the winter sale

Witcher 3 really is the game of the year

Does it require any prior game knowledge to enjoy the story? I played 1 or 2 but stopped playing when I kept getting murked by spiders.

You'll miss a few things, but you can still play it without any prior knowledge and enjoy the story. I think a lot of people went straight to 3, without playing 1 and 2, and they had a good time with it.

Bought Fallout 3 thinking I was going to be experience RPG piff


Compatibility issues with Windows 7 got me crashing before I load up the game. I'm about to reinstall Skyrim and finish that instead.
