when you go to install a game, there should be an option to choose another library

moving games already installed is not simple. afaik, you can't just move the files and expect Steam to figure it out. if you want to move a game to a different library, the simplest thing to do is just uninstall and then re-download it to the new location

Did you just keep the games in your steam apps folder and delete everything but the steam apps folder and steam.exe?

Once you do that, you just run steam.exe and it'll rebuild everything

just fixed it by running steam as ademin. the problem was i was doing everything from full screen. I got everything running now

I've never had an issue moving folders once steam started acting funny

Re-downloading games can be a big pain if you have a slow connection
