Steam top games of 2016 revenue wise

To be fair a lot of multiplat games are more popular on console. If you play fighters you know this is true (SFV, Guilty Gear etc). Exceptions are games like Overwatch where I'd imagine PC playerbase is bigger. For me if its multiplat and an online game I'm copping on PC cause I aint tryna pay that PSPLUS premium fee to use my internet

For every street fighter, theres an Ark: Survival thats way more popular on PC than console..

Ark, an independant game, on both platforms, has sold 4 million copies on PC alone Only 2 AAA console exclusives have sold that much on PS4/xbox 1 (Uncharted 4 and Halo 5)

this isnt even up for debate..

Edit: Has Street Fighter 5 even sold 4 million copies total

I didnt cop XCOM 2 cause they didnt put controller support for steam. Super lame considering the first one did. To me that is backwards as hell, PC gamers like me dont mess with KB and mouse, wanna kick back and use my 360 pad.

I believe they have a mod for it now because I remember using a 360 controller at one point for the end of the game

It depends. Games that both platforms share console have stronger communties majority of the time. While PC has the better performance majority of the time. It depends on what you want for a certain game.

You not making any sense with this thread. Three titles outsold PC counterparts but what about the hundred other games that are PC exclusives or doing better. I don't understand the logic??? I can go on Battefield 4 on PC right now and find a full game where as Consoles I can't. You guys play games for 6 months.

Also, as time goes on, Withcher 3 / Fall Out 4 PC sales may end up past console sales.. 2-3 years from now when them Steam deals hit..
