but if you run that shyt back to the beginning, Peter Gunn and Lord Tariq straight p-diddy hook jacked this song for Deja Vu, which was released around the same time. Doom was already bass filtering + micro vocal chopping this song to bits before it even got the mainstream treatment.

I watched that steely Dan documentary and I was amazed by all the songs I recognized because of Rap

Worshipped them in my 20s. Still love them. I was lucky enough to see them in concert before Becker died. If I had a favorite song I'd say it's Caves of Altamira, but Do It Again, Home at Last, Any Major Dude, Babylon sister, Deacon blues and Peg are all up there.

That documentary is AMAZING.

To this day, one of my biggest regrets is leaving L.A. two days before they were set to perform at the Hollywood Bowl.
