in the end its all about culture, we just have to figure out a way to have a massive shift in culture in the black community

I think right now we are and need to be in a brain storming mode, so im willing to give anybody including diddy a chance

People have to be more hands on in regards to their children's learning. Passive parenting is way too prevalent.

I recommend reading about Bill Gates climbing out of his window at night as kid in order to get computing time on the University of Washington's computers.
For clarification purposes. Why would Gates sneak out at night to get computer time if his pop's connections allowed him access to computers?

honestly sad how the black people in this country with money don't really do shyt with it

wish i had the resources i would to create state of the art 6-8 & high schools for blacks

stem on some straight to ivy league shyt

& arts would be cutting edge visual and audio arts, not academic
basically taking prodigies and giving them all the resources and assistance

in college right now though so still a lot of time to reach that goal

well a lot of black people with money actually do stuff with it. but not always. and they dont always do the most impactful things.

for instance i bet most people probably think if i'm rich the best thing to do for my people is to start a charity. well that is a necessity as well. but whats also a necessity is jobs.

think about it. if i give you a jayz scholarship and you graduate college. then you go applying for jobs from mostly non black owned companies. the odds of you getting turned down strictly due to your skin color is high. no matter your grades/credentials in comparison to other applicants. those are the facts. So what if i told you I owned a few businesses where i could start employing you. You would be more inclined to hit the books running because you now know there is something out there for you to do once you finish. a lot of the issues we have in our community is based on morale or a lack thereof. The higher the morale the better we do, the lower the morale the worse we do. the morale is low for good reason. It's based on history and the current day treatment of our people. It's hard to go hard when you dont see much coming from it. think about it. on average(we're not talking anomalies or one offs)... most black folks are in bad shape due to racism white supremacy. its like you learned how to dunk on a 10 foot rim. you go up to dunk and some how some way the Rim is raised to 12 feet while you're in mid air. you say fine. i'll try it again. they raise the rim again and you're actually getting a dunk in on the 12. they keep raising it. keep raising it. and at times as soon as you approach the rim. out of now where someone just hits you across the neck and slams you to the ground. The ref doesnt call a foul. you lose the ball. its a turnover and no basket made on your end. this is the life of an average black person throughout history til today. that kind of reality will keep morale low.

This is why people that currently have money. need to build black businesses up and start hiring blacks like crazy. That is almost a better push than actual charities.
