work in accounting/finance, but in the biotech industry.

unless its engineering, there isnt much you can make without a masters or phd.

the techs in the labs make okay money. However, their jobs are more like manufacturing.. meaning they punch-in, punch-out and go home. Sure, its s dead end career, but there is a certain comfort in a routine and stress free job.

the higher paying jobs are very stressful and work doesnt stop when you go home. That is something to think about.

Nope. Stay in your lane. We STEM people will just keep our "shytty job market and our shytty wages".

Jokes on you :yeshrug:
:russ:
Anyway, I was one of only 3 blacks when I graduated in Aerospace Engineering (about 70 grads total)... It was probably a record because the following year it was back to zero blacks:francis:

I'm a Biology major am I ok?
:lupe:

I graduated with a bio degree; minor in chemistry and the problem with that is there are so many people with biology degrees, so you have to set yourself apart from the rest. The competition is heavy; you have to know your shyt and it's very rare that you will come out the gate making 50k. You are going to have to work your way up; sometimes. Having a bio degree is good; but you need to be experienced in something like microbiology, immunology, immunochemistry and etc; just not the I have a general biology degree.

Like what the other bruh said; biology jobs are majority manufacturing job, very little jobs are just research. Even if you go and get a masters or a phd in biology; you only going to make 100k unless you have some experience. I meet some catz with phd's in molecular biology only pushing 50k

When are you suppose to graduate?

Damn, on the real your kinda late in the game; your spouse to do that before you graduate. Put your resume up on career builder and you probably can pick up a temp/contract job quickly to get some experience with common techniques like PCR, wester blot, gel electrophoresis and other shyt.

What school you go to?

UCF. And I applied for a job that involves all of those techniques. The others jobs didn't so I hope I get it then.
