Yo why do these two mediocre MC's always sound like Top 5 Dead or Alive on Alchemist Beats? ALC should only rap on his own beats. Can't wait for this to drop.

I can't call Ev mediocre by any stretch, especially not over the last few years. He's actually one of my favorites in the entire game. But yeah, Ev is right at home on this style.

Those would all probably be in my top 5.
More Wins, Dr Kimble, and Tomorrow would definitely be in the top 5 easily.
Banging Sound, Buzzing Away, and Draw Something didn't really catch my ear at all based on these. I don't know if it's because the cats that already have the album primed me to expect that, but they all pretty much agreed that those were the 3 on here they liked the least. And I'd agree so far. The rest is killer.
If ya'll are expecting more Step Masters, Ron Carter, and Just Step...those are really the only joints that have that sound.

Yeah. That is a bit of a stretch. i remember you and i discussed this same topic on the albert einstein thread. I like ev...but thats over the last 3-5 years or so. I never was much of a fan of his until he went solo. We agreed he has improved significantly.
He sounds great on this tho. Cant stop listening to the snippets. Fiend'in for this album even more now.

Yeah I do remember we talked about that. I agree I wasn't a fan really before his solo work and then especially since he's picked up new flows and styles the past few years.
I gott keep myself away from the snippets but I'm hyped too. It should leak by this time next week I would guess.

I can't see how this won't leak within 24 hours. I know if I had ordered it from my local shop here in town instead of Fifth Element they would have it in today. Rhymesayers has a streaming link up for reviewers and a few people have posted about having their copies early.
