Wade not a better ball handler or passer than Steph, and shooting goes a looooooong way. Steph is better in the PnR, off screens, I'd take Steph going ISO over Wade

If anything I'd say their playmaking is equal. Offensively Steph has the edge due to his ability to space the floor as well as iso. Wade can also is but not space the floor like steph. Defensively there is no argument and that's why I would take wade

You're right the gap on defense is wide, but Steph averaged 8.5apg in 13-14 and 7.7 in 14-15. Per-36 Steph averages 7.1apg for his career, Wade's best season per-36 is 7.2 and is a career 5.7, and that's despite Steph having a noticeably lower USG%

Steph is a more willing passer given that he is a point but I wouldn't say he's a better playmaker. Both can effectively run ur offense and make sure everyone gets fed
