You must not watch a lot of Kyrie Irving if you only think the best part of his dribble is the crossover. Truth be told, he only crosses at last minute because that's the only option to get by, or put up a shot. Ball is on a string at all times
And that's what I mean, I said he has a great handle, just nowhere near Curry for that reason. Steph does not need a cross, he can do so much with his hands and the ball, it's on a string at a higher level than Kyrie. Curry does not crossover AT ALL, he puts nikkas on skates without a change of direction, just fakes and creative dribbles, which is what "handle" is about.

Name me anybody else in the league who could still be effective with one hand tied behind their back. Steph can do THAT MUCH with the ball. How many times have you seen a 1 handed thru the legs and a behind the back pass, or a 1 handed in and out into a scoop shot.

That's great HANDLE my nig:yeshrug:

We agree to disagree. No slight at Steph, but he doesn't enter the conversation when it comes to dribbling the rock with Ky. Just my opinion, and you have yours :yeshrug:

So none of you nikkas know the difference between handles and crossovers?

You must not watch a lot of Kyrie Irving if you only think the best part of his dribble is the crossover. Truth be told, he only crosses at last minute because that's the only option to get by, or put up a shot. Ball is on a string at all times

Homie above pretty much covered it. His connection to the ball is uncanny, in control of it at all times. The body movement, head and shoulder fakes to create space for the jumper, footwork/change of direction to get by his man, and creative finishing at the rim all while keeping the shyt on a string is untouchable. Steph is waaaaay too loose/fancy for no reason and too nonchalant with the ball and other than some oooh and ahhh moments. he is not anywhere as consistent in kyrie in terms of handling the rock or being in control of it.

Difference is Kyrie has better handles, but if Kyrie tries the same move to pull up for a shot, he doesn't get the defender to jump like that. Maybe they'll step up, but they know you can't give Curry any room, and that makes cats have to try and shell out more to stop Curry.

Sick :wow:

I think Curry is probably the most deceptive ball handler. Like someone said earlier, it's incredibly difficult to predict what he's going to do next.

Kyrie has better raw handles.
