But he didnt choke. just because you say he didnt doesnt make it true.
In 2 different Finals he's had an open 3 pointer at the end of the series and missed them both.

0-8 all time in game winning playoff situations

5 straight finals, won 3, never once came close to a Finals MVP

Either he gets the rep of a choker or at the least we gotta stop calling him the best shooter ever. His performances dont and cant support any other conclusion.

This is your hero :scust:

As bad as the clanked 3s were and the 1-6 in the 4th quarter, 0-4 from 3 for the the "best shooter ever"

Even worse was what almost nobody talks about which is crazy and that is his absolutely unacceptable defense. Probably the main reason Toronto dominated GSW and they couldnt stop anyone. Just Curry mistake over and over, Curry being targeted, Curry giving up buckets. :scust: All series.

Not only garnered sympathy but after the first game Nurse broke out the box and 1 to shut down Curry, stans actually tried to mount a collective argument that the fact "Steph forced Nurse to use the box and 1" ACTUALLY proved how great Steph is and makes him one of the best ever. Nevermind that he was never able to overcome it and lost the series while getting schooled by VanElite. :heh:

Curry is Steve Nash with more shot attempts and a little more athletic ability.

That's not a knock on Wardell Jr. Historically, great shooters didn't have the volume he does. He shoots often and at a higher percentage so his volume stats AND efficiency stats are top-notch. He's great at what he does, but he's not Jordan/Kobe/LeBron/Magic levels of transcendent.

Allen Iverson got Eric Snow, Jumaine Jones and an old Dikembe Mutombo to the Finals and took a game of Shaq/Kobe. Not sure Wardell is getting that caliber of team past the first round back then or now.
