Stephen A made a good point,we forget that Steph is undersized like Allen Iverson was. So they are at a disadvantage in a league of big men once the double teams and defenders really lock in to stopping them.

No one's saying he isnt a great shooter. Teams always have to game-plan differently for guys that run off screens. JJ Redikk, Korver, Rip Hamilton, Reggie.

What made Steph special is he combined that off-ball shooting you have to gameplan for with also great ball handling and point guard skills.

Except when Nurse really keyed in to shut down the off-ball catch and shoot...that great ball handling and pg skills didnt really do anything to pick up the slack You can blame Steph or Kerr's gameplan but either way he didnt seem able to revert back to regular "scoring point guard" mode where you can just put the ball in his hands and he'll go get you a bucket or a layup for someone else. They still just kept tryna run him off screens.

And because there's one aspect of the game he doesnt come close to Reggie Miller in - clutchness - when he finally got open off a screen to win the game, he clanked it.

Just turns out he's more like those other guys than we thought.

Every team at any level of basketball is gonna game plan against there opponents best players in the postseason. The argument that even though the Raptor's game plan worked the fact they even had to game plan shows Curry being goat level is not valid.

We were talking about undersized scoring pgs who can't score in the playoffs when it matters because they are too small.

They can't see the rim over taller defenders
Imagine a team lead by lillard ,Tony parker or curry or Westbrook or kyrie with no system to hide their flaws doing anything in the playoffs
They would all be worse than harden in the playoffs and you know it

That's why AI was so special for a little guy
