Man, one night, I don't know what the heck was going on; but I was having some deep introspective thoughts about my parents.
How about 1 time they were young folks, just living life, with no thoughts of me and my sisters coming into the world. Then when raising me and my sisters, complaining in my head about things they could have done better; but also realizing that they are just human and in their minds at the time, they were trying to figure it out and they were doing what they thought was best. Now they are in their 60's ( and even though in good health as far as I know) are coming in on the downside of life and one day will be gone

I'm not gonna lie I'm a momma's boy and I don't even care.
My parent's used to be together but got separated when I was about 11 and my father has been in and out of my life. Sometimes he supported sometimes he didn't. My mother took up most of the parenting work and basically raised me and my sister and brother as a single parent for most of my life. Her hair has greyed and she has broken down physically having to take care of 3 kids by herself. I have the utmost respect for her and try to set aside free time for her so she doesn't feel lonely all by herself. Sometimes people kind of shun their parents (knowingly or unknowingly) and don't get to spend as much time as they should before it's too late.
Spend time with your parents brehs and brehettes because before you know it they will be gone.
