The Traps of Unified Korea
Gotta guard that man from half court. Can't give him any airspace. I can't even imagine having to play a guy like that.
This is what coaches and opposing players talk about that people ignore when they just want to look at numbers or whatever else. Curry's presence on the court alone destroys opponents defensive spacing. There's never been a player before like this. Yes there have been, are, and will be players more dominant 1 v 1, but every second Steph is on the court he's applying more pressure on the opposing teams defensive responsibilities than any player there's ever been.

The fact that his team regularly scores easy fast-break points because defenders leave the ball handler to check him at the line is proof enough. That's INSANE. Steph being on the court makes players and coaches make decisions the complete opposite of conventional logic.

Curry means way more to golden state and what they do offensively than Durant does...A curry injury is the only thing that'll stop them from winning the chip this year... Durant just makes them practically impossible, bringing that elite one on one option

PHIL USED TO SAY KOBE DID THINGS BETTER THAN MICHAEL WHEN he coached as motivation. Steve takes after phil. nothing to see here. Steph is a great player but you have to be an idiot to think he compares to mike offensively as to having more impact.

surround curry with average to below average offensive players and steve would sing a different tune

Not like he could go far with a squad like Davidson in college.

why are we talking about college? Curry is great, but saying he has more offensive impact than guys like mike, shaq, wilt, dream, kobe etc.. is foolish

curry has 3 other allstars (in their primes) playing with him now. at what point in the careers of the players i mention above did they have such a luxury.

Who was the all-star the year he got his first chip?

I remember you riding Steph's dikk the year he was jumping into superstardom. I'll give you props for that. But you're still a bandwagon fan.. Not a true Warriors fan. Just jumped on the wave. You haven't followed a team through the ups and downs so yeah, you can't talk shyt.

And when was I ever wrong about Harden? Please remind me. I've defended him from you because you're annoyingly overcritical and you know it. You're still stubborn for throwing him under the bus back when you were a Thunder bandwagon fan and said he wouldn't be a number one option. Instead he led a team 3 times to 50+ wins. Was a runner up MVP twice. Became one of the best scorers in the league And went to a WCF with no other stars. If anything you were way more wrong than I. You literally dismissed him and said the Thunder didn't need him. I've never claimed Harden was the best in the league, better than Curry, would win a ring on his own etc. I just said he's a beast and a MVP level player. Every year Harden did something great you would move goalposts into something else.

I'll give you credit for ONE thing when it comes to Harden and that is his weakness in a playoff atmosphere as a SCORER. He definitely needs to add another dimension to his game to be top tier like Curry, KD, etc. But still you never gave him credit for shyt. Always downplayed his playmaking too. I don't have a lot of posts and I can easily find some of these Harden discussions. I've always been objective about him. You were always way overcritical to a point of hatred so please don't go there.
:ohhh:
So it's more about tryna prove he wasn't wrong about Harden.

Always wondered why he goes so hard on Harden.

Makes since. Saying Harden wouldn't be a number 1, is a big knock on that poster. Especially one who holds himself in high regard. So he always finds ways to downplay Harden so he doesn't look foolish.

A Buckeye State Of Mind
I been telling nikkas even when curry has a bad game his presence still opens things up for every player on his team. As great as Durant is Curry is the guy for the warriors and I've seen people argue against that:snoop: This isnt outlandish by Kerr at all. There's a handful of guys you can make that case for and curry is one of them. They're may be other more complete players(he's actually a complete player himself) but his specialty impacts the game more than those guys.
