I think AAU killed fundamentals. Prior to Steph all kids focused on were pulling 3s and dunking. It`s wild most "big men" dont have any post moves what so ever.

The current state of AAU basketball has done a disservice to the college game, and each incoming class of NBA rookies.

Most of them don't learn how to really play the game til they're getting paid to do it.

story of my life. i got a nice jumper but trash ass handles, and i shoot pretty good like i take 50 practice shots in the gym, there are times i make it to 50 without missing but most of the time i make it to 35-40.
maybe i could have made to the league if my handles weren't trash

story of my life. i got a nice jumper but trash ass handles, and i shoot pretty good like i take 50 practice shots in the gym, there are times i make it to 50 without missing but most of the time i make it to 35-40.
maybe i could have made to the league if my handles weren't trash

I can't jumpover a speed bump, got kwame brown hands, and zero left hand, but my defense is A1, jumper is A1, and I move like a prime rip hamilton without the ball

Guys will always try to live out their "I shoulda made it to the league" dreams in pick up ball. Shooting 3's is okay, but its when the guy knows he can't shoot and shoots them anyway is when it gets frustrating.
