Im 6'2" been playing ball since i was 12. Never cared to make a team but due to my height i was always asked in high school and college to try out for the team...

I played for fun cause my brother was on teams and a real solid player since the afe of 14. He would win tournaments and i lived in his shadow...lol

My bro was a beast in the paint, he modeled his game after hakeem. His footwork and all, so i was always forced to spot up n shoot...

After college, i played ball like 10 times a year...just within the last 2 years i play whenever i can.

My jumpshot and range is stupid. I shoot from 2 to 3 feet behind the 3 pointline. People hate guarding me lol.

On everything i played on thanksgiving, and played some young kids 24 to 26. One kid tried playing me by calling me 2008 mamba and said im old man doc rivers...im a very humble guy in victory.

But that day i scored on this kid till he said damn nikka you embarassed us HAHA

I def dont move like i use to but no matter the age, anyone who learns to shoot will never lose it.

I hope these young fools actually learn to shoot a jumpshot and dont just chuck up shots

It's not the way it should be.. it's the way it is tho.

AAU coaches know their formula works, no need to teach fundamentals to kids who's athleticism/size lets them get away with it.

Them coaches aren't looking to make them kids the best basketball players they can be... it's all about getting them to top basketball HS's, D1 college powerhouses, and to the NBA....cause that's what brings the endorsements, the recruits and TV time.

But in no way should you validate shytty basketball players because of a fundamental flaw that begins in AAU basketball
