Not yet, he has the potential to be a superstar though, highly marketable.

He needs more playoff success to get the superstar tag, right now there's only 3 in the league.
so u telling me
wade is not a superstar
melo is not a superstar
cp3 is not a superstar
howard is not a superstar
drose is not a superstar

can u define superstardom... atleast from ur point of view

I'm a dubs fan, but bro is not a super star but he is currently an All-Star Player and is moving into the Franchise Player category if he can continue to stay healthy. A superstar is "IMHO" almost a once in a generation type of player.

But there is a big difference between Superstar (Lebron, KD, old man kobe), Franchise Player (Dirk, Paul, Rose, K. Love, NashWestbrook, Coward) and then All-Star (Blake, Roy Hibbert, Harden, etc).

He's slowly climbing the ranks but I can't see him making the jump to superstar because of his size and liability on the defensive end.

Co-sign the 3 different tiers players should be categorized under. People start to try and lump all 3 into the "superstar" tier when there are only three players in that tier

:comeon: so Allen Iverson wasn't a superstar? Cuz the bolded applied to him too

Paul,Rose and Westbrook are superstars too. When you have endorsement deals and your own commercials being aired nationally you are a superstar

If he's not considered one right now, I'd bet he will be by the end of the season.

Im being honest.

Steph jacks the ball up. Like who cant do that shyt? shyt Jamal Crawford can do that shyt. Lets get real

Curry had better numbers in his 2nd season than Crawford's had in his career

fukk the numbers.. I accused Steph of being just a gunner. He's good but what do y'all see that has him at Superstar level right now? Im saying Crawford can come in a jack shots up and I'd say do the same as Curry.

I wouldn't compare AI to Curry seriously look at their resumes and then come back and explain why your example is stupid. I don't think Curry can take the pounding that AI did and as a Warriors fan I hope I am wrong and that Steph can stay healthy. But AI made up for his lack size with aggressively attacking the passing lanes and leading the league in steals. But I would also say that AI was a fringe Superstar

Paul, Rose and Westbrook in my mind are not superstars but they are certified Franchise Players. A superstar alone can take a team of scrubs to the championship game because that player is so much better than everyone else and can take control of the game on both ends of the floor. Lebron has proved that he can do that, Duncan, Kobe, Shaq, Jordan, the Dream, Magic and Bird. But like I said before this is my personal opinion as there are people that consider Wade, Dirk, Rose, McGrady, Vince etc to be superstars as well but I would still consider then a tier below Superstar status.

Edit - Having a commercial or shoe doesn't make you a superstar maybe a rockstar but there is a big difference. Blake has his own car commercials are you going to argue he's a superstar as well?

:wtf: You said currys lack of size and not playing defense made u not consider him a superstar.I said Allen iverson(who was shorter and bonier and most of the time was a liability defensively) had those same traits and he was a superstar.Getting a lot of steals don't mean you're a great defender either.Lebron is the only player who took a team of scrubs to the finals.

Yes blake griifin is a superstar.Wade WAS a superstar but not anymore
