I'm not wishing anything.
I'm calling Curry what he is.

Ain't my fault the coli can't accept reality.
For players to last at an elite level they need a well rounded game.

Maybe curry develops that. He probably will.
But right now he's a super 3 point shooter.

Nothing wrong with that at all
But the coli just wanna suck his dikk.

:sas1:
That's like saying MJ wouldn't be shyt without his athleticism. You're grasping at straws now.

"Elite chucker." Cats outchea inventing new, nonsensical terms to cope with their cognitive dissonance. Brand new evaluations of what happens on the court. Fanalytics.

Come on now..you're giving him way too much credit now......he's great at putting the ball through the net, efficiently, from distance as well as driving into the lane. But let's not act like Smush Parker wouldn't have him in cuffs breh...

I agree.
But I didn't call Shaq a better center than Hakeem back then either.

:yeshrug:
I don't think Shaq was at his prime when Hakeem beat him in the finals, I'd say it was more his Laker run.

There's also not really any Hakeem to Curry's shaq right now. Maybe Lebron but they're completely different types of players

I was told Russy was better.

Curry is NOT an elite passer. This dude is not Magic, Kidd or Nash, seeing and anticipating passing lanes and angles before they develop. They just run pick and rolls and Steph just hits the obvious man that's open when he's double teamed. I could do that. He just makes the right pass. Making the right pass is different from being an elite passer. They run a play, and he passes it to an open man. ABC-123 that simple. Draymond is the more elite passer/playmaker on that team. When plays break down, this man makes those passes that catch you off guard and blow your mind, especially those backdoor passes.

Real talk, you take away Stephs shot, he's virtually invisible. You take away LBJ shot, he dominating the boards and and racking up 15 assists. You take away MJ shot, he locking down your best perimeter player, forcing turnovers, grabbing boards and getting assists. You take away Kobes shot......he keeps on shooting.
Steph is a legendary and elite shooter...but that's really it.

It's exactly like that and it was the analogy I was going to use. Taking away any players best trait will leave them significantly diminished, it doesn't matter who you pick.
Of course it diminishes a player.
But truly elite players excel at more than 1 thing

It's like Chris Davis. Yeah, he's fukking amazing at hitting HRs. But that aside...

:francis:

I'm not saying Curry is Chris Davis. But he damn sure ain't Mike Trout.

He's an elite handler, elite passer, pretty good finisher at the rim, has good vision, and actually played better defense on Russ last night than Russ did on him (defense is 50% effort anyways). I hate them just as much as you do but let's not lose our grasp on reality here.
He makes some remarkable passes and does a lot of flashy dribble moves, but elite is stretching it.
