But I think now is about the time for me to stop being a fan. Not to say that I won't root for Steph, or enjoy watching him play, but I just can't be into him as much as I once was. It's time to move on. See, I'm one of those once something is too popular, I don't like it anymore ass nikkas.
I remember the 2010 and 2011 seasons when I used to use GS on 2k exclusively just to cheese with this nikkas jumper. Had a nikka using squads with Andris Biedrins and Coby Karl
just to play with Steph. I remember trying to tell casual fans to look out for this dude. I didn't even get mad when this lil nikka started to get popular. shyt, I was still rocking with him after he won the MVP. But the level of popularity that he has reached is too much for me to take now. It's like when white people started doing trap music; you knew at that point that you couldn't consider it cool and that it was time to move on.
So yeah, this Step Curry shyt is not a secret anymore and he's become Americas darling. Cool. But now I have to move on to another promising player that I can tell nikkas "See, I been told you about him" in a few years.
