As for militancy, has nothing to do with militancy, just not being brainwashed regarding government. I'm glad I grew up in a household where it was discouraged and my parents countered a lot of shyt fed at school and on tv.
As for honoring, how is it a honor, what are you gaining? You are just giving a politician a free photo op.
It has always meant nothing but shyt, its started way before trump.

I mean, honors are honors, you don't really gain anything but recognition from them. What do you gain from an MVP award? What do you actually gain from a Grammy? Etc., etc.

That's the funny thing about it...

It's tradition so we all expect them to go, and it's news when people announce they're not going...

But I don't think Donald Trump's White House is even inviting them.

the president isn't recognizing them for anything, they got recognized and got a trophy (grammy and etc are competitions) from the NBA for their achievement.
This is just a politician trying to use them as a photo op, period, its always been as much.
Its sad that people think its an honor or its more than a photo op for the politician, but that is what it is.
