Crazy thing is, 2015 wasn't that long ago in the grand scheme of things. You dudes treat basketball lore like MAGA treats recorded history. Remove or outright rewrite the parts you'd rather forget, and keep the parts you want to be remembered.

LeBron got wade & bosh just to beat the washed Celtics

Then when golden state did what LeBron does “it’s unfair”
In his defense, Bron took better versions of those Celtics teams to 6 & 7 games with a FAR inferior roster.

That's why this comparison doesn't make sense. You give those Cavs teams a stellar #2, and they likely beat Boston even with the rest of the roster being mid.

good for him, but it still doesn't matter. outside of KD, Dray and Klay aren't HOFers without steph

Even without KD, steph was still terrorizing the west. Steph's success just has y'all insecure. Don't get mad at GSW for drafting HOFers.
I don't care about Steph. Ya'll just love abandoning context to push a narrative. Steph only beat Bron when the scales were massively tipped in his favor to the point where he wasn't even the best player on his own team :heh:

And that's laughable, Dray is the best defensive player of this generation and Klay is arguably the second best shooter of all time. Klay and Draymond went 9-3 in playoff games without Steph :mjlol:

But Steph beat Bron huh :unimpressed:

Kevin Love was concussed in the 2016 finals, missed a game and a half, and averaged 8 PPG on 36 FG% for the series :unimpressed:

Curry averaged 28 and 6 against the Thunder in the WCF but when he loses in the finals he was on one knee :mjlol:

None of what you said compares to Lebron in 2015 going up against the Warriors with Mozgov and Delly as his best teammates
Its been almost 10’years later and you nikkas still running w the narrative that his knee wasnt affecting him :mjlol:

Cleveland played him way more physically than Portland or OKC

Don't forget Kobe having a losing record against ringless Steve Nash :mjlol:
But in context no one is arguing that Nash is the best player of his generation. Why can’t threads ever stay on topic on the coli :mjlol:?

Curry actually has an argument for being the best of his era because of his success in the finals . Nash never won any ringsz What’s Nash’s record against Kobe and Duncan in the WCF :mjpls:?

Curry wasnt the best player on his team for half his rings, only has 1 finals mvp. Idk if you can blame lebron for losing to a team that was built to beat him in the first place
So it’s ok for LeBron to build teams and abuse parity to beat the Celtics but it’s not ok for Curry to have Durant?

TYRONE GA!
Just to further dismiss the nonsense of this post:

Michael Jordan's Playoff Record vs Other Stars

Bird's Celtics: 0-6
Isiah's Pistons: 10-12

By this logic, Larry Bird and Isiah Thomas are better than Jordan because their teams won more in the playoffs versus him.

Does Lebron get to keep his superteam in this hypothetical :jbhmm:

see this post

:yeshrug:

I agree. I said it years back, it's the same shyt ('11-14 Heatles & '17-19 Warriors) so keep the same energy.

Was it "fair" to Durant, Russ, and Harden that they had to face a constructed super team in 2012? That title would've changed how all 3 of them are perceived, especially the latter two. Is it fair to Duncan, who would likely have 1 more finals MVP (2013) and 6 rings total to push him in top 4 GOAT conversations? And if ppl say it's not a sure thing they would've won... well it's not a sure thing the '17 or '18 Cavs would won since the '17 Spurs and '18 Rockets were better in those seasons anyway.

So yea, naturally i got no love for GSW during that era but you can’t hold super teams against Curry's legacy in service of propping up hypotheticals for LeBron, when LeBron's legacy benefited from the same shyt at the expense of others.
