I didn't say Kyrie wouldn't be top 10 :mjpls:

As for Curry, the first gif is the use of a screen LOL and the second gif he didn't even create space just hit a tough shot with great footwork.

There were better iso ball handlers in the 00s....Curry wouldn't be top 10, neither would Kobe.
I have a hard time believing you will even be able to name 5 better than those 2.

People are really starting to go crazy with Steph Curry either way. Without that handle he is Kyle Korver, his off ball handling ability is what makes half of the shyt he does possible.

Yes, the screen is how Curry got open, not putting on a Curly Neal impersonation with 4 dudes swiping at the ball :mjpls:

Kyrie & Curry are 1A and 1B, I noticed you didn't name any :mjpls: You lucky you backed off Kyrie....cause I had this too

I never said anything about Kyrie. You trying to lump Curry in with Kyrie when Kyrie doesn't need a screen or double screen or sometimes 3/4 screens to create space is laughable.

He doesn't need a screen to score, their offense is based around the high screen and all of the chaos that comes off of it. If he went out there and decided to take 25 shots a night in isolation like the 00s dudes did, you'd be saying he had a great handle even though he'd be burning through clock and wasting possessions like they did.

Kyrie & Curry are widely regarded as having the best handles in the NBA, Curry's handle is lateral movement and step backs to get off his shot, and it works.

We saw Curry multiple seasons before the system was installed breh and he was good but not great and definitely was not an excellent Iso guy or penetrator. Hell, his handle (with a screen or in transition) only got way better recently.

Every cotdam inch of GA..except the racist parts
after jordan, that monster that suited up for the lakers from like 2004-2010 was probably the most complete offensive being that we ever saw ..............until this season when another monster came through and crushed the buildings in a more elegant, less vicious way than kobe did.

these arguments that i'm reading are pointless. Steph is the NOW so of course he'll have more people riding for him just like kobe did when people were comparing him to jordan in the mid 00s. Steph is more dangerous on the offensive end than kobe ever was....thats just my take on it.....but kobe was a more complete player due to his ability to lock in defensively .

also......guys.....they play different positions........ :snoop:

everyone on here knows kobe and steph are the best of their times.

just enjoy it.

kobe = :banderas:

steph = :damn:

We saw him average 24ppg with a crappy offense installed by Mark Jackson, only 30% of those shots were assisted so what are you saying breh? Don't make it sound like the "system" is the reason for him being great, he gave the Spurs all they could handle in their first playoff run.

This ain't even debatable IMO

40 pts on 50% shooting and 8 dimes >>>>>>>>>>> 50 pts on 30% shooting with 1 dime

This is an excuse. His numbers are inflated and so is his efficiency. If you are arguing that Curry needs the perfect team around him to make this comparison then that does not speak to well for him.

The same way Lebron's numbers with the Cavs and Heat are different because the Cavs do not have the optimal system and roster around him.

We never saw Kobe with the optimal system and roster around him btw.

Explain how his numbers are inflated, prior to this year he was a career 44% shooter from three, this season he shot 45% from three. He shot 48% from the field his second year in the league, where is the inflation coming from? He had a great season at an age great players typically have their best seasons. What happened is that in last years playoffs he figured out taking a ton of threes is what he should be doing, he took 11 a game in the playoffs last year and that carried over into this season.

Star players can't "inflate" efficiency either, LeBron's single most efficient season was in Cleveland, what you see now is what we call "aging" :mjpls:

His TS jumped 8-9 percentage points once the system was installed :dwillhuh:

This isn't true.

Lebron has had ONE season with the Cavs at 60 TS% but has MULTIPLE seasons with the Heat well above that.

Yall gotta stop acting like systems and rosters aren't optimizing certain players stat lines.

His TS with Mark Jackson was 60%, with Kerr it's been 65%, 8-9 percentage points? Why we gotta lie?

Also, why do you keep using TS? LeBron's most efficient season was the 08-09 season with the Cavs. So you're basically implying that Curry is a system player now :dead:

@Poitier there can be no peace or reconciliation jahahahahaa

i see chef as a dribbling ass motherfukker
he wil stop and do a whole lot of cool looking bullshyt to buy him a little space then fire
but defenders have to deal with the paranoia of potential whistles and picks/screens he might run them into more than him just losing his defender because they can't stay with him

as far as shaking off defenders with speed hesitations crossovers change of direction etc. being flashier doesn't mean he's better at those things

3 out of Curry''s first 5 seasons were in the 50s and the 2 that were in the 60s were 3-7 percentage points lower in true shooting :dwillhuh:

And Lebron has 3 seasons in Miami that are more efficient than his 08-09 season.
