Rubio and Flynn
And Flynn was only in the league for 3 seasons![]()

Steph right now is on a whole other level. Scoring wise he's reached that Kobe/Jordan/prime T-Mac level of where you just have to hope they are off. .
this is an insult. Let curry average 30ppg and win some scoring titles before we make this leapthis is where the soft nba rules benefit a player like chef c. you saw Delly bothering him in the playoffs. so was shump. how? they are stronger, larger guys. they were bodying him up and handchecking(refs allowed it since the cavs were so banged up to make it a series).
but in normal nba games in 2015. you cant touch anyone on the perimeter without a whistle. so no you cant guard him PERIOD. you just cant. if curry was here in the late 90's. their would be better defense on him. he would still do his thing because he's that good and has that great footwork. But it would be more difficult causing his fg%, and 3pt% to slip a bit. but now. there's no logical way to guard him period. so why even try at this point. pray he does put up kobe numbers (62 in 3, 81 in 4, a bunch of 50 pt games in a row, etc.)

Spend the night in a tanning bedwhat the hell curry gotta do to get respect around here?![]()
The better he gets, the more he gets criticized in here.. I don't understand why people can't just apriciate greatnesswhat the hell curry gotta do to get respect around here?![]()
Maybe you should do the same to get your respectSpend the night in a tanning bed

You really can't hand-check Curry anyway. His handles too good, he's put you on SC constantly. We never had someone like Curry. Someone who can shoot like this, create his own shot like this and dribble like that in one package at an GOAT level. That's surreal. You can't guard him at all. He's coming for Magic, that much is clear. To me, he's already better than prime Zeke.

23ppg in 88-89
I don't ant to hear about how "soft" the league is when I saw PGs like Francis, Davis and Marbury all put up numbers despite the fact none of them could consistently shoot. They did that with handchecking and much lower basketball IQ's than Curry, I mean cot damn, Marbury averaged 24ppg in 00-01 and shot 44% from the field WITH handchecking. So Curry, armed with the best jumpshot ever, and a handle on par with some of the best ball handlers to play in the league isn't going to get his, despite the many examples of lesser players than him putting up numbers during the 1980s through 2004 pre-handchecking era?
He'd still be able to do what he does, because you cannot affect his jumpshot, he was shooting over Anthony Davis like he wasn't even thereYall dudes act like Mark Price wasn't hitting shots during the "murderball" era, and he couldn't create 1/10th as well as Curry can, Curry is bigger than Kevin Johnson was, could anyone effectively guard him? Nope, just accept that Curry is a special talent instead of trying to shyt on the game.
IMO the disrespect and doubt flow from the fact he doesn't measure up as an individual athlete/player
when the lights are on and the cameras are rolling he's automatic yeah
he's the best player on the nba stage would be the more accurate statement
but that's within the sterile controlled environment of the league
with other players in the conversation you have more confidence that they can dominate any situation
whether it be 1v1 against anybody or drop them into dyckman the rucker or another court with no refs and motherfukkers basically throwing hooks and clotheslines tryna body you
there is no fear factor with steph
vs. athletes who clearly can overwhelm you with athleticism or size
no matter how you defend them or how physical you get they will still get buckets
he's an amazingly polished nba product and the highest pinnacle of sterns vision for the league reached thus far
clean crisp beautiful to watch highlight filled
it's the opposite of the days of zeke and the bad boys era
grimy chippy ruff raw and reminiscent of the streets
and I'm a young nikka too but i understand the questions and shade
we assume he's soft until proven otherwise fukk the statistics

That passing ability and first step as wellKyle korver with handles brehs
Him and Kyle are similar shooters to a degree but let's be real. Curry can shoot on the fly, Korver, not so much. Curry shooting ability is more amazing because he can get his shot off from nothing, he don't even need space sometimes. He just does it.He's away better scorer than those guys. You can't just pack the paint and double team him like you can with those SG's. He's a PG as well. He can create for others. Look at his +/- of the last two seasons. It's Lebron tier and none of those guys had Lebron tier =/-, even Jordan.Steph right now is on a whole other level. Scoring wise he's reached that Kobe/Jordan/prime T-Mac level of where you just have to hope they are off. What Curry lacks in height he makes up for in his quick release and ball handling. fukk the shooting and passing and all that which are all just completely ridiculous. I honestly don't remember a player who forces an entire defense to be in a constant state of panic trying to make sure he doesn't get a sliver of a look when he's on-ball or off-ball. The fact that he can shoot from so deep, shoot in any stance and doesn't even really need to set his feet, and if he switch the wrong player on them will either cross them or step back and pop an open three on him and it's just impossible to defend. To me he's clearly the best player in the league right now.
every star player gets grabbed, pushed, held to some degree. i didnt say he couldnt handle it. stop overreacting. i said if he was here in the 90's. with a slight rule change. i didnt say the 80's with super handchecking. curry would have a lower fg% but still be virtually unstoppable. This whole "Curry can't handle physical play" thing needs to stop and it needs to stop now. Anyone who has seen a Golden State game in person will tell you that Curry is constantly getting shoved, pushed, bumped, grabbed, etc.
Dude doesn't care. Curry is surprisingly tough mentally and he'll fight through rough play with no problem plus he's sneaky as hell (Watch Curry when they try to put bigger defenders to body up on him or be physical, he knows that refs will give him the benefit of the doubt so he'll push them off into a screen and use the momentum to clear for a 3 or he'll grab the bottom of jerseys).
It doesn't work.
kyle korver wishes he could shoot that well off the dribble. after breaking someones ankles.Kyle korver with handles brehs
