he's clearly being guarded by your average mortal in that vid
of course he can do that to somebody he's a superior athlete to

but to someone significantly quicker stronger than him with a longer reach¿

say 1v1 against kyrie or jwall a guard like drose was when healthy or even retired dudes like baron davis or stevie franchise at their peak¿

i just don't imagine him doing the same things then

i was talking about look at how he's being pushed by the guy on purpose with two hands. you dont hack people like that while playing for real. yet he still got his shot off. so i'm saying yes i know his fg% would drop if he was playing in a tougher era. but he still would be unguardable for the most part.

ridiculous indeed. the drill is basically saying dont even pay attention to your dribbling hand or the ball. pay attention to this little ball over here. but you can barely see that ball too. so you have to reallllly concentrate on this tennis ball. you forgot about the basketball. its now 2nd nature to just keep your handle.

did you see that pre season game vs my lakers. when they were playing in that slipper gym? this fool steph slips basically falls, still dribbling (like vintage I.thomas) comes up WHOP. for three.

i'm like this mutha...right here. is the TROOOOOF

^that would make you quit playing after getting lit up like that.

he worked like a madman. BUt his dad is a known hired gun in his best days. Its in their genes. so even his shooting is truly God given as well. but also worked on to perfect it.

if your father was a top tier nba gun in his best day. you dont think he would give you nba talks about shooting, get you nba help with your shooting, give you nba regimens for your shooting? of course he would. which is another reason another steph curry isnt coming along an time soon.

I agree but his brother isn't as good. Also, there are plenty of legacy NBA players who didn't inherit their father's genes.

But yeah I still agree with you.

I used to post very heavily in the old days of this website... 2001-2008ish.
Kobe in his prime.
I used to love how mad the board would get.
Kobe's 81 point night gave enough material to sustain this place for a solid half decade.
I watched that Clippers Warriors game last night, and thought to myself
"I haven't seen a talent like this in the league for awhile, it might be time to dust off the SOHH account and see if my eyes are deceiving me."
Nope.
27 pages of pure hate for this kid: son of shooter, leader of the league champions, and keystone of a team that looks like it could go 82-0.
It's enough to pop some popcorn, grab a chair, and lurk for the next 12 seasons of ball as Steph sets records, wins championships, and posters on here talk about some guy that was on their high school JV team who "would have given stephanie an armbar to the small of his back that could have shown him what's what like those 90s knicks teams played d with riley!"

Of course the ATL
Best player in the game today.

I'm gettin real close to gettin on this bandwagon...I still got Bron & KD above him, but KD barely. I don't even know where you begin to "slow him down", he's gonna get 32-35 just off GP and still drop 8 or 9 assists. shyts just :wow:

St Louis Rams!!!!!
The he couldnt play in the 90's is dumb.

First people make it seem like every player in the 90's was a fcking superstar, when that wasnt the case.

Second, Reggie miller was out their showing out. Curry a reggie on steroids and they played at a much faster pace so Curry might have had 40ppg season or close to it :whoo:

Nah 90s was a slow crawl. The 50s-80s were all up and down.
