there's way too much bullshyt out there about westbrook being "dumb" and not making the right plays. the guy had the second best FG% off his assists last season, one percentage point behind curry, and that was with durant barely playing all year. the guy makes everyone around him better while drawing in almost every defender's attention, don't preach bullshyt about not being able to win a championship with westbrook breh.

you also don't have to hide westbrook on defense.
They dont hide Steph on defense anymore. He isnt the greatest defender but he has improved.

Westbrook isnt a great defender either. Dude gambles alot on defense.

Hero Ball doesn't mean he has a low basketball IQ just means he's the king of "doing too much" sometimes. I feel more comfortable with the ball in Steph Curry's hands in key post-season basketball. If the Thunder stays healthy they can very well win the championship, but right now I don't think they can beat the Warriors. They have a lot to show and prove and its a long season so we shall see. Not dissing Russy I just want to see him succeed. That will my team to victory style may not always work especially against the upper echelon elite teams in the league.

i agree that he's the GOAT shooter, I don't think that's an accurate measuring stick though.

then what is?
Not sure. Just don't think its that. Maybe 3pt FG %? "Most made 3s" doesn't take into consideration the type of teams, systems, pportunities for shots, playing style etc.

Example. Kerr "only" has 147. But how many fewer minutes did he play In total than Steph in those 254 games? Things like that matter. Volume has a lot to do with opportunity.

Ray and Reggie didn't have a lot of opportunities for shots?

regardless of system you still have to actually make them. and he makes them at a higher percentage than both those two

The one thing that's impressed me most about Steph so far is his low turnover count. Just 5 in the first three games and I saw one tonight that was an on target pass just off the hands of his big man.

Curry tightening up his ball security is scary. He's long been this good of a scorer, but turnovers have been his biggest fault as a player.
